De Berg Guesthouse is a cozy and comfortable place to stay, located in a quiet part of town. We offer self-catering rooms, to suit your needs, with amenities including free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and more. Although our rooms are self-catering, you may opt to book meals as well. Our History
In April 2005 we officially opened our guesthouse doors to guests, but even before the official opening, we had our first guest, sleeping in an almost completed room: a young German man cycling through South Africa. How he came to our guesthouse is a story for another time, but sharing our meal with him and giving him a safe place to stay made us realize that our decision to start a guesthouse was the right decision! After him we had many more guests coming as strangers and leaving us with memories, good stories and thankful hearts. We hope and believe that we will be able to accommodate many more guests and share in their stories.

Room 1: A pacious family room, can sleep 2 adults, & 1 child/adult with ease. An additional bed/camping cot can be provided if needed. Please contact us to discuss bed arrangements in order to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The room is a fully equipped self-catering unit, but guests are welcome to book meals. For your comfort we ask that you please discuss the bed arrangements or adding an additional bed, with us directly before arrival.
